The Toyota yaris?

Question

I am looking into buying a new car. For the next six months i will be driving back and forth from Iowa to Ohio every other weekend. My friend said while the Yaris is small (not a problem for me..i am single..no kids) its real good on gas. Is the yaris a decent car and good on gas? thanks

Yes its great on gas and the best you can do except for the hybrids these days. It even beats out the smart car. Definetly a value.

It is one of the most reliable vehicles currently made.  In addition, you will be getting MPG comparible to a hybrid. Go for it!!!!

I am a VERY happy Yaris (2007) owner!  38 miles/gallon!!!  Buy one today!

It's OK. You should check out the Nissan Sentra too. The Yaris is kind of tinny unlike most Toyotas.

The yaris is great on gas! It's also one of the most unique cars driving on the road.

The drive is fair, smooth for the most part. However the mileage and fuel gage malfunctioning is what drove a friend of mine to trade it in.  That was 1 &1/2 years ago and since then Ilanother friend of mine bought one. No complaints there. Plus it's a toyota so reliability is a given!

Great buy in my opinion!
