The Tracey Shuffle set to win Club Hurdle
The Tracey Shuffle is all set to show a big run in the Stephens Green Hibernian Club Hurdle that is going to be held at Punchestown racecourse on Thursday, April 26. The action will commence at 3:40 (GMT) today.
In the high-stakes contest over a distance of 2 miles and 4 furlongs, the David Pipe-trained brown gelding will compete confidently against 11 rivals such as Ample Appeal, Beir Bua, Corskeagh Royale, Nelson’s Bridge, Tofino Bay, Turban, At Fishers Cross,
Rear View, Weather Eye, Zardsky and In Bloom.
The winner will be awarded €14,625 as cash prize. The Tracey Shuffle has been registering fantastic feats since the very beginning of his career. The six-year-old talented horse staged his debut in December 2010.
He moved ahead to bag a couple of consecutive victories in February 2011. After finishing 10th in a race on March 16, the maverick sprinter earned a runner-up rank on January 19, 2012.
The talented horse elegantly finished first in his last outing on February 14. Thus, he has 50 percent success ratio.
At the moment, the young and brilliant gelding is carrying a lot of form that will help him thrive today. His chances to finish first are as high as 95 percent.
Among the other runners, Tofino Bay and Nelson’s Bridge are also likely to perform well in the race.
Tofino Bay has been in great form since the dawn of 2012. The D. T. Hughes-trained brown gelding finished 4th in a race on February 4. He went on to grab a 2nd and a 3rd position in two consecutive races during February.
He attained a runner-up rank in his last outing on April 9.
Nelson’s Bridge excellently won the first two races of his career each on December 14, 2011 and January 19, 2012. Nicky Henderson’s bay gelding grabbed an 11th position in his third and last outing on March 14.
It is predicted that there will be a fierce battle in the race. The Tracey Shuffle will have to pass through some arduous challenges in order to carry the day. Good luck to all the horses.
