The UK Open ignites darts magic, it has never been this good!
The UK Open has kicked off once again, bringing the best of the sports of darts. This year the game of darts has been providing top-notch entertainment for people all over the world.
Following last month’s McCoy’s Premier League’s success, The UK Open has been promising. This year has been the best year for darts as the global audience for the magical game of darts has increased tremendously.
The McCoy’s Premier League 2012 was easily the best premier league of all time. It gave numerous surprises and shocks that thrilled fans throughout the planet.
We saw Adrian Lewis exiting the league at the hands of Australian wizard Simon Whitlock. This was the biggest upset in the history of the premier league, as Lewis is the former World number one and defeated the mighty Phil Taylor in the same league.
One name that stood out of the entire roster was Simon Whitlock. “The Wizard” was the most impressive player out of the bunch.
His passion and hard work got him a position in the final of the McCoy’s Premier League final against none other than Phil “The Power” Taylor.
Whitlock put up an excellent battle against Taylor but lost the final. This victory marked the global dominance of Taylor once again, yet, got “The Wizard” the respect he truly deserved.
This year’s UK Open marks the return of Simon Whitlock and his amazing form that was seen in the McCoy’s Premier League.
He won his face-off against Terry Temple and Justin Pipe in amazing fashion and proved that he still retains the form he had at the McCoy’s Premier League.
He is becoming the biggest threat to names like Adrian Lewis, Gary Anderson and James Wade, who have been in the darts business for a very long time now. The Australian is one of the strongest players to win the UK Open.
Simon Whitlock is looking bright and passionate. If he remains consistent with his accuracy and precision, he may become the best in the world of darts in a very short time.
For now, round four of the UK Open will decide who remains and who goes home.
