  1. Are you crazy...those guys admitting something Bush and the generals did worked? Nope, they won't because the Iraqi government hasn't held certain elections yet.

I feel it is a slap in the face to me since I got wounded and almost died in Anbar in 2006 and still stayed till the 'Surge' started in Ramadi the following year. I saw it work and saw one of the worse places on the earth change for the better. 11 out of 18 provinces are returned to the Iraqis and Anbar was the worse yet we are losing and still in Europe, Japan and Korea where we won decades later?

    That's politics for you....

  2. He's a politician and that's politics. Do you think that George W. Bush will ever admit even half of the things he's done wrong in office?

I'm not going to get political and I'm not going to discuss who's wrong and who's right about the Iraq war or the surge. But I will say this: If you're looking for an honest future president who doesn't have that "I've never been wrong" attitude, then you're going to have a h**l of a hard time finding someone to vote for this election or any election for that matter. It's politics. Obama, McCain, etc...all know that they're wrong about at least 3 things that they've proposed/said so far in this campaign. But they'll never admit it because it will make them look weak and "Un-Presidential".

  3. Because of one province? You realise your tax payers money is going into the fighters pockets in ANBAR PROVINCE - they are paying them to stop fighting so they can pretend peace is arriving.,

This is of course a hopeless short term solution - but then again, if they keep taxing you they can keep paying off the 'terrorists' who'd clearly like their country back.

  4. Maybe because he does not have the common sense to admit he is wrong and doesn't have the experience to be in government. Didn't he even vote to cut off all funds to supply the troops as well as the support personnel ?

  5. Oh please, you do not truly expect the anointed one to actually admit that he was wrong do you? That would be a sin against himself.

Edit: Shock and Awe, email me I have a question for you.
