The US causes more damage than the terrorists?

I'm not taking a left of right side stance here at all, but doesn't it seem like the US has actually caused more damage than the "terrorists" in the middle east? I mean sure, they have a few car bombs, kidnap a few people, but then the military comes in with troops that kill thousands, missles that blow up entire city blocks...why don't they just stop? It's like stopping 2 dogs from fighting by shooting both of them and then blowing up a pet shelter full of dogs that didn't do anything 20 miles away. Why not just leave well enough alone? Let them blow each other up and save some money by not getting involved?

  1. Put the amount of damage in the video beside "terrorist" damage and it makes the US of A look like the biggest hypocrite ever.

Have a look at this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=m3Os4bJn0To

  2. You're so right.  And when you consider how much so-called 'terrorism' across the world is actually armed resistance to US interference, direct or indirect, with other countries' affairs, it becomes clear who are the real terrorists.

If the US were simply to withdraw all its military, all its slush funds for collaborators, all its propaganda, direct and indirect, behind its borders, peace would break out all over - and half Europe's present unlovely gang of politicians would be looking for new jobs!  Bring it on!

  3. I hate the U.S. sometimes man....

  4. OK fine but when you directly attack the US ie 9/11 overreaction or not there is going to be consequences BTW has there been another terrorist attack on US mainland :D

  5. we sure do,  and who is gonna stop us,  lmao,  no one

  6. Yes, terrorism is not an ideology, it's a tactic, so it doesn't even make sense to talk about "the terrorists." There are hundreds of insurgent groups around the planet, and they are across the spectrum when it comes to ideology and tactics, some of whom are funded and armed by the very countries whom claim to decry terrorism. Go figure.

And yes, professional soldiers and armies do FAR MORE damage and carnage around the world than insurgents, and in a huge percentage of the cases the insurgents came into being to defend minorities against the depredations of hostile armies in the first place.

Yes, fighting insurgents with conventional military means is like fighting mosquitoes with machine guns or burning down a house to get rid of the termites. Even if it works, is it really worth the cost?

And I agree, American forces abroad are causing the world and the USA more harm than good, World War Two ended more than 60 years ago, it's long past time to bring the troops home and let the world mind its own business.
