The USA embassy in syria?

i'm going to syria this summer, and i'd like to do some kind volunteer work or research for the USA embassy. do you think they would allow this? also, how would i go about contacting them and what jobs could i possibly take?

Well, you can certainly give it a try, but it's really already too late to get this going. Among other things, to work in the embassy, even as a volunteer, you need a provisional clearance.
