I'm a Yank who's spent most of the past year in Canada. Both have thier pluses and minuses.

Things cost more up here, and there is less selection, but it's a friendlier and saner place to be as well.

This is a Canadian Travel forum site, not a sad patriotic version of "My Dad is Better Than Your Dad".

No offense to the questioner, but these questions never go anywhere good, or anywhere at all for that matter.

But if you insist, I prefer Canada, for many reasons. Most places in the U.S. are nice to visit though.
