The Undertaker and WWE
Mark William Calaway, better known as The Undertaker, has been in professional wrestling for more than twenty years. He started his career with, World class Championship Wrestling, in 1984 but later joined World Wrestling Federation
(WWF), now known as World Wrestling Entertainment. He joined the company, as The Undertaker and has remained as that, from the day he joined. He has had the most amazing careers of all, in WWE history. He is undefeated at the Wrestle Mania and had many feuds
with different superstars, which have been the most memorable in WWE history. The last match he played was against his brother, Kane, who defeated him and buried him alive.
One of his most popular feuds was against the second Undertaker, introduced by Ted Dibiase. The Undertaker defeated the fake Undertaker, by hitting him with three Tombstone Pile drivers. After few other rivalries, the Undertaker
had one of the most intense rivalries of his career, against Mankind. He was interrupted in many matches by Mankind, causing him to lose, numerous matches.
After the Undertaker, had had enough, he decided to move his attention towards Mankind. Both the superstars battled everywhere in the ring and outside, taking blows from each other. As a result of their feud, the first ever Boiler
room brawl took place ,which the Undertaker lost ,due to betrayal of Paul Bearer. He then challenged Mankind, to a buried alive match. The match was won by the Undertaker but eventually ,he was the one who was buried with some outside interference. The Undertaker
again returned at the Survivor series, winning his match against Mankind, in a unique steel cage match.
Another rivalry of the Undertaker was with his brother, Kane. Firstly, the Undertaker refused to fight against his brother but he did eventually fight him, after he was pushed to the limits. The Undertaker had defeated his brother,
Kane, twice at Wrestle Mania. For a long time, these two didn’t have any fights against each other but recently, Kane targeted the Undertaker to prove his superiority over his elder brother. Both these superstars, had been involved in tag-team matches as well
and were named, “Brothers of Destruction”.
The Undertaker has a magnificent record at Wrestle Mania, winning all of his 18 matches, he was featured in. He defeated all the other superstars that stood against him. The recent, was Shawn Michaels who challenged the Undertaker
twice, in Wrestle Mania but was unable to defeat the Undertaker. In 2010 Shawn Michaels either had to defeat the Undertaker or quit the WWE. It turned out that the Undertaker, defeated Shawn Michaels, in an epic match and ended the long career of the superstar.The
Undertaker has had a phenomenal career at the WWE. He is a father of two daughters and one son. His son came from his first wife Jodi, in 1993 but his marriage was over with her, in 1999. He then married Sara and had two daughters from her. His marriage with
Sara also ended in 2007 and he is now married to Michelle McCool, who is a fellow wrestler of the Undertaker. The Undertaker has carried on his legacy for more than 20 years. He can undoubtedly be considered as one of the very best wrestlers, WWE has ever
had, in its entire history. It will be interesting to see that for how long he can carry this legacy, in the WWE.
