The Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho and Triple H vs. CM Punk for WrestleMania 28 – Wrestling news
Sources have revealed changes in plans for WrestleMania 28. As reported, The Undertaker will make his ring return on WrestleMania, or before, to defend his 19-0 undefeated streak against Chris Jericho, who recently made his ring return after a year of absence
from the WWE.
Also, there is news about Triple H going one on one with CM punk to settle scores once again.
WWE’s management keeps a close eye on what their viewers want. When Chris Jericho made his ring return, most viewers expected him to have a clash with CM Punk at WrestleMania, since both the men are of the same stature while being great entertainers.
However, it seems like now the management is keener towards giving viewers something more electrifying and ground shaking. Apart from Y2J, the Phenom and CM Punk, there is another man out there who awaits his turn, and he is none other than the cerebral
assassin Triple H. Since we do not have Mr. WrestleMania, Shawn Michaels anymore, it is quite tough for the management to come up with some creative that would excite the fans and make the show sell.
At the last episode of WrestleMania, the Game went one on one with the Dead Man in a no-holds-barred match, and lost. His post fight speech in the ring clearly indicated a second meet-up of both the fighters.
However, right now it seems like WWE officials are more interested in offering a fresh dispute to fans instead of dragging the same one. Yet, The Undertaker vs. Triple H rematch is still on the cards and it might happen.
As of now, nothing is sure yet. WWE is testing the water by throwing in as many superstars it can. Whoever will grab the most public attention will get the biggest match of the event. In addition, the match between John Cena and The Rock has already stirred
up the crowd, so maybe it’s the right time to kick start a new feud of Y2J with the Undertaker and carry it on for another five years, since Triple H is out of form and can no longer fight against competitive matches. After his repetitive knee injuries, the
Game is no longer able to bring his aggressive and violent touch to the ring.
On the other hand, Kane is also back with his fury and monstrous rage. There are also speculations of both the Brothers of Destruction colliding with each other at WrestleMania to prove which one is the better man.
As of now, nothing can be said about their plans. However, one thing is for sure – Vince is up to something as he has been throwing several new characters as well as reviving the older ones in the ring.
Question of the week: Will we see Shawn Michaels heading back towards the ring at WrestleMania 28?
