  1. I've spent time on this issue in the past, personally I think the UN needs to be disbanded and reformed.

The UN, unless it changes, has been powerless to effect any change and for the most part a paper tiger. Sure, its nice that all recognized countries have a place and come to speak, but what good is talk without action ?

They even signed a resolution regarding the Iraq war which even France was in aggrement with, yet it too America to take the lead and give the UN its credibility back.

I propose a new ":Geneva Convention" which would be an international community of recognized countries. All must sign on the dotten line if they want to be recognized and with that signature , are entitled international rights to decency to the people's of that coutnry. If they are in violation of it, the international community will punish them,...and if they refuse to sign, they are no provided protection under the agreement.

Sure, you could say ya, just another community and another piece of paper, but that's where it differes. It spells out what actions are to be taken under what conditions. No chaotic discussions, fights, politics later when someone is in contempt of the agreement. Just a quick resolve to stop things from happening like when Iraq invaded Kuwait.

  2. Human rights is supposed to be protected but most countries ignore these rights because the UN is not a world government that could order countries to follow its rules.

  3. Simply put...A Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

    History

Appalled by the barbarism of the Second World War, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948.

The UN has 192 member states.  I think this website will answer all your questions.

  4. Most Latino countries had rights which U.S.A. trampled on   and it would not have mattered eveni f they were UN  members for rights to really matter someone would have to put Human Supremacist notions as against Human and All Rights put in Animal Rights as well to prevent genocide against Wild Animals Endangered species for reason humans less likely to do so against eachother. Also mention in Charter Global Warming caused by Human Supremacist   beliefs humans superior to all life is racist.  If Human Supremacist notions rejected then Latino countries would not be so easy to attack for reason Human Racism part of belief world for profit.  Many Asian countries are members . If Afghanistan  were it  still might not have been best approach even if people in Afghanistan joined UN effort.Problem is many members would have to police themselves. Tend to think most not for reason you stated also wantto point out even if human rights bad all are Human Supremacists so just as bad on that point as rest of us.

  5. The United Nations trying to take the moral high road on anything is laughable.  It is the most corrupt organization in history.

I personally wish we would withdraw from it or at least kick it out of the country.
