The United States Champion, Dolph Ziggler set to face Zack Ryder at Vengeance – WWE Update
The SmackDown General Manager, Theodore Long set the United States Champion, Dolph Ziggler to face the Internet Champion, Zack Ryder for tonight's pay-per-view event, Vengeance. The announcement was made during Friday Night SmackDown on October 21.
Total of eight matches have been announced in the final match card for Vengeance that is going to be taken place tonight at AT&T Centre in San Antonio, Texas.
The first match announced was the WWE Championship match, which was decided between The WWE Champion, Alberto Del Rio, and John Cena.
Cena was given a second shot for the title after Del Rio won the WWE Championship in the last pay-per-view segment, h**l in the Cell, by fully exploiting his incredible abilities. During October 17
edition of Monday Night Raw, Cena decided the stipulation of match as “The Last Man Standing Match”.
The second pay-per-view bout was unveiled between the World’s largest athlete, the Big Show and the World Champion, Mark Henry for the World title.
Henry captured his first ever World Heavyweight title against the Viper, Randy Orton at the Night of Champions on September 18 and then the rematch on October 2.
Just after the victories the storyline of World Champion started against Big Show who returned in the Friday Night SmackDown event on October 7. The third match announced in the same segment was the tag team match between the team of CM Punk and the COO,
Triple H against the team of R-Truth and the Miz.
WWE Divas Champion, Beth Phoenix will defend her Divas Championship against the Athletic Warrior, Eve Torres. The fight between Eve and Beth was announced during Monday Night Raw on October 17.
During the same segment, Vickie Guerrero announced that Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger will face Air Boom in a Tag Team Championship match. Shockingly, Ziggler has also been put into a United States Championship match against Zack Ryder. It is up to Ziggler
how he will overcome the physical and psychological strain of two matches at Vengeance.
WWE Universe will enjoy two heavily hyped challenge matches at Vengeance which are Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton and Sheamus vs. Christian. Although, these are non-title matches but these are having great importance because of the famous fighters in the bouts.
