The Very Entertaining Real Madrid and Hercules FC Match
The amazing Spanish team, Real Madrid came back from 1-0 and scored 3 goals to win another pre season game. Real Madrid's night took a shaky start as they conceded a goal in the first half during the 40th minute and left the field at half time as they were a goal down. With many fans disappointed at the team, Jose Mourinho tightened all the loose ends to give his team a boost in the second half.
The second half kicked off with the same team that featured during the first half as both the teams made no changes in the squad. During the first half, Jose Mourinho's side was under pressure for no apparent reason and the defensive lines of Real Madrid were penetrated by the Hercules FC attack and they scored a goal to put themselves in front in the amazing action packed friendly match between the two sides that was being played on the home grounds of Hercules FC.
With the end of the first half and players leaving the field, it was Jose Mourinho's side that was disappointed with their performance as they were losing the match 1-0 to a team that was not even in their league; but kept giving the Spanish giants a tough time.
Real Madrid's Spanish rivals, Barcelona recently won a Super Cup and broke their record of winning the cup 9 times as they defeated Seville 4-0 at Nou Camp while Lionel Messi enjoying another fabulous performance as he scored a hat trick. As Barcelona were the ones who sent a message to Real Madrid, it was now time for the La Liga runner ups to send a message to Barcelona. After the end of the first half, things were definitely not going right for Real Madrid but in the second half it was all Real Madrid as they totally trashed their opponents with the help of their young players.
Everyone saw how Sendoa Aguirre scored a goal at his home stadium during the 40th minute, but the match for his team was far from over as the second half kicked off with Real Madrid filled with energy as they came back from the locker rooms. It was the Los Blancos who came back as Karim Benzema, the person who was criticized for coming "late" in a training session, scored a goal for Real Madrid in the 50th minute to make it level for the Spanish team.
As the clock ticked away to the 58th minute mark, the former Inter Milan architect, Jose Morinho decided to introduce his new German signing, Mesut Ozil. With Ozil up and running in the attacking midfield, it was Real Madrid all over the place as they started to attack ferociously. The result was simple as it was Angel Di Maria who outran his marker and scored a fabulous goal from a through ball that was played by the amazing midfielder, Pedro Leon.
As Angel Di Maria dodged the Hercules goalkeeper to put his name on the score board, it was Real Madrid who were leading 2-1. Later on, Benzema made a statement towards his critics as he scored his second goal and this time, finished the ball into the net clinically as Pedro Leon was the one who gave him an unselfish ball even though he could run into the 18 yard box himself to score it for glory. However, it was Karim Benzema who scored his second of the game to mark an end to the match at 3-1.
Soon after Karim Benzema's second goal, Pedro Leon was shown a direct red card after he kicked the Hercules defender for no apparent reason and walked off the pitch to leave his team behind with 10 men. Even with 10 men on their side, Real Madrid were able to defend their 2 goal margin as the final whistle was blown and the Spanish giants were able to keep their 100% winning record during the pre seasons.
Now Real Madrid are to face one more Uruguayan team before they step into the Spanish La Liga with their new manager, Jose Mourinho. With Mourinho on their side, the squad is definitely going to do wonders; which is going to make La Liga even more exciting this year round.
