The Viper Randy Orton grabs the highest place the Power 25 this week
The Academy of Wrestling Arts and Science has revealed the Top 25 Superstar in the Power 25 list on April 30. The ranking were based on the wrestler’s power in the ring, victories, the opponent’s power, the event’s importance and the overall in-ring dominance.
The Viper, Randy Orton, is ranked first in the previous week’s Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown rankings.
Orton was at third place Power 25 list on April 23. That place was given to him due to the WrestleMania XXVII rematch victory over CM Punk on the Raw Edition of April 18. The New Nexus members, David Otunga, Michael McGillicutty and Mason Ryan also attacked
him after the match. Punk tried to punt down Orton, but was treated with an RKO by The Viper.
On April 25, WWE Drafts results were unveiled in Monday Night Raw. Orton was drafted to the SmackDown in those results. Moreover, The Viper fought a match on Monday Night Raw against Dolph Ziggler. Orton smashed Dolph Ziggler and took the massive victory
over Ziggler. It was the last impact that The Viper showed on Monday Night Raw.
On April 29, Orton appeared on SmackDown after five years as per WWE Drafts results. While he was giving his comments for being on SmackDown roster, Drew McIntyre interrupted him. McIntyre tried to hit Future Shock DDT, but The Viper escaped and got him
with an RKO quickly. Orton again started talking about SmackDown again but was interrupted by Alex Riley that time. Before Riley could say anything, he was also honoured with a stunning RKO by Orton.
Alberto Del Rio, who was moved to Raw's roster in the Drafts results, disrupted Orton to set his last impact on SmackDown. The SmackDown General Manager, Theodore Long, set up a tag-team match between Christian along with Orton and Del Rio along with Brodus
Clay. Orton and Christian graciously won the tag-team match. Orton traded another RKO to Clay for his first SmackDown victory.
The amazing victories, in Raw and SmackDown editions previous week, jumped The Viper to the first place for this week’s ranking. The Viper has won the 'Last Man Standing Match' match at Extreme Rules on Sunday. The ranking for Extreme Rules and next SmackDown
and Raw editions will be counted on May 7.
