The WWE COO, Triple H fires tag team partners, The Miz and R-Truth on Monday Night Raw – WWE News
Monday Night Raw brought a lot of controversy in the roster on September 19. The WWE’s Chief Operating Officer, Triple H fired the tag team partners, The Miz and R-Truth during Monday Night Raw.
The Miz and R-Truth were set to face the Tag Team Champions of WWE, Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne at the pay-per-view event of WWE, Night of Champions. They got defeated by the Tag Team Champions due to disqualification as the Miz misbehaved with the referee.
After losing the fight, Miz pushed the referee down and hit his head with the bottom of the turnbuckle. Truth also slapped the referee and threw him on the mat. They stated that they did not have fear of misconduct with the referee as the COO was resigning
from the WWE. The results were quite the opposite, as Triple H won the fight against CM Punk and did not resign from the position of COO.
One day after the Night of Champions, the COO set a tag team fight between the team of Truth and the Miz against the team of WWE Champion, John Cena and Punk. The COO also promised to fire someone after that match.
The chances were that the COO would fire Punk as there was a stipulation in Triple H’s match against Punk at Night of Champions that if Punk lost, he would be fired. The fight was taken by the team of Punk and the WWE Champion Cena as Punk hit Miz with his
finishing move, GTS for a three count victory.
After the match, the COO came out and congratulated Punk saying that it was a good match. He also announced that Miz and Truth were fired from WWE. As Miz and Truth heard that they were fired, they attacked the COO from behind beating him down. All the superstars
came on the spot and made the save. The COO ordered the roster to throw both out from the building. The Monday Night Raw segment ended with that shocking announcement.
