The WWE Champion, John Cena, retains his WWE Championship over CM Punk
The WWE Raw House show took place in Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Australia. The WWE Champion, John Cena defeated the Angriest WWE Superstar, CM Punk and retained his WWE Championship.
The Raw House Show opened with a Battle Royal and the winner was to be put into a WWE Championship fight later on tonight. The New Nexus’ Leader, CM Punk won that battle and became the number one contender for WWE Championship against John Cena tonight.
The WWE Divas Champion, Kelly Kelly was teamed up with Beth Phoenix and she was put into the fight against Nikkei Bella and Brie Bella. The team of Divas Champion and Phoenix won over Bella Twins after Kelly hit Brie Bella with her trademark hit, Spear.
The High Flying Superstar, Evan Bourne won his fight against The All-American American, Jack Swagger, by hitting his Flying Splash.
The Mexican superstar, Rey Mysterio, was put into the fight against the former WWE Champion, The Miz, the Master of 619, won his fight against Miz by hitting his trademark move 619 and pinning for three counts.
The Raw House Show also featured a Tag-Team Championship match that was decided between the Champions David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty, The New Nexus members, and the team of Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov. The New Nexus members, David and Michaels,
took the victory in that fight via disqualification and were successful in retaining their championships
Another championship match of Raw House segment was the United States Championship match that took place between Kofi Kingston and new champion, Dolph Ziggler with Vickie Guerrero. Ziggler took the title victory over Kingston due to the interference of Vickie
in her boy-friend’s fight.
The WWE Championship match between John Cena and CM Punk was the last main event of the Raw House Show in Australia. The WWE Champion, Cena retained his championship successfully by putting Punk down with his trademark lock STF. There was no way for CM,
but to tap out. The WWE Universe applauded Cena on his victory with a huge pop.
