Question:

The Waitress says the fish is cooked after you complain that it is not. What do you do? Insist you are wrong!?

Ate in this fish restaurant for the past 6 years. A waitress insist that your meal "fish" is cooked and refuses to return it to the chef. It is obviously raw inside and insist on arguing the point. Then says that I did not order it well done and it's my fault for not doing so!! B**** eat it yourself or stu** it etc

  1. Ask for the owner . Dont argue with a waitress. If you are unhappy with the meal, then its wrong and needs to be fixed. , end of discussion . If the waitress was disrespectful make sure thats reported to the owner/manager.

    If the waitress refuses to get the manager, just leave and ask the cashier for the manager. If there is a cahier or greeter , take your plate over , hand it to her , and tell her its rubbish , and the wwaitress was abusive .  Let it be known that you will tell everyone you know how bad the food and service is.

    I would avoid going back if the waitresses arent doing the job , I dont like people spitting on my plate in the kitchen .

As a manager, I would expect to be informed of your situation, by the server first and foremost.  My servers know to tell me anything the guest comments on, and I can handle it from there.  I would fix it for you no matter what, as you have chosen to spend your money with us!  As a side note, most places with high quality seafood do cook it on the underdone side.  I always ask the server how the fish is prepared when I place any order.

  4. Speak with the manager and do not give a tip. that is ridiculous.   Even if it was black and overdone, the customer is always right!

  5. Go to the manager & explain your issue & mention that the slag of a waitress, who is not capable of serving the public to begin with, is not being helpfull.  Then leave her a 4 cent tip.:)

  6. I would call for the manager and say your not happy with the entree.  I would go on line and write a review about the restaurant if your really mad.

  7. 5150 is right. Ask for the manager and tell him/her that food was not done the way you had asked and the problems that you are having with the waitress. You gotta make sure that you told her nicley though that your food was not done right, waitresses always like to take an attitude with you if you make them think it was their fault.

Wow you should defiantly talk to a manager, I can not believe that she was allowed to talk back to you like that.  You do not order fish well done it is always suppose to come well done like chicken and pork.  She was 100% wrong in the way that she acted and her manager should be told of the way that she is treating customers.  I am a waitress and that would not be tolerated by my manager.  If you go there again I would probably ask not to sit in her section next time.

  10. I would take her fishing and pull up a fresh raw fish, and make her eat it after she compared it to the one on your plate. Then I would slap the fresh raw fish all over her head until she begged me to stop.... then leave the fish head for a tip.
