  1. David Hale, the source of criminal allegations against President Bill Clinton in the Whitewater affair, claimed in November 1993 that Bill Clinton, while governor of Arkansas, pressured him to provide an illegal $300,000 loan to Susan McDougal, the partner of the Clintons in the Whitewater land deal.[1] This allegation by Hale was questionable, as Hale had not mentioned Clinton in reference to this loan during testimony in the original FBI investigation of the failure of Madison Guaranty in 1989. Hale also had a history of creating dummy companies, then looting federal funds, such as SBA loans, from them, and allowing them to fail. Only after coming under indictment in 1993 for charges in just such a scheme did Hale make allegations against Clinton.[2]

It is really just a phony corruption charge that the Republicans dug up to harass the Clinton presidency.  Most of the digging they did during the 8 years, Bill was in the White House came to nothing but wasted tax dollars.  The Lewinsky scandal was the only thing that came out of 60 million dollars in Congressional investigations.

We don't have to spend a cent to know that Bush is a criminal who should be impeached, tried, and sent to jail.  He admits it on TV that he has wiretapped citizens illegally, rendered illegally, tortured illegally, and generally been a crook who used the office of the presidency like he was the King.

  2. It was a rip-off of the retirement money saved by many senior citizens.

It was perpetrated by the Rose Law Firm of Arkansas and the Clintons were involved.

Hillary Clinton worked for the Rose Law Firm when that firm was handling the scam. The same firm was involved in the criminal activities involving Wall mart.

Wall-mart was closing factories in the US and shifting manufacturing into China when there were legal limitations to how much could be imported from China. Wall-mart had "Made in America" labels sewn in and smuggled the goods into the US.

The Rose law firm was handling their illegal activities also.

    Again, Hillary Clinton was implicated.

No convictions resulted from either case.
