  1. I have a feeling that the Pens might win tonight, but then Detroit will make adjustments and win  games 4 & 5.

  2. I don't wanna to see a "Motor City Breakdown" =(

  3. They have went flat a coupla times.....which leads me to believe they won't this time. Babcock said we will play better in Pittsburgh...........wow.......will it be a triple XXXcellent night for Detroit?  I can hardly wait...pulled out my Detroit Redwings Lawn chair today.......I add a new item each game.....I have a small space so I hope they do it in four.........LOL

  4. Yes they did, they almost had a massive blowout.  Its name was Dominick Hasek.  Luckily, that spare tire the Wings have had all year is one of the best on the market.  Change that tire in the blink of an eye and roll on they did. And a rollin' they will keep on doin.

  5. The Wings have gone flat three times this year:

-- Once in the regular season, though admittedly riddled with ijuries that took out 25% of the team at one point, they played poorly for a 10-game stretch.

--  During the Nashville series they went flat for almost two games.  During the playoffs, that's a lot.

-- During the Dallas series they went flat for almost a game, maybe slightly longer.

Thing is, they don't stay flat long enough for other teams to take full advantage.  Tonight will be tough - they may even lose the game, and there's even a chance they'll get fully outplayed by a desperate home team.  However,  that will simply make them mad at themselves and mean trouble for the home team in game #4.

They've shown no signs this year of ever experiencing a full-blown breakdown, so I don't see one happening now.

  6. Detroit was never halted in this playoffs, but Nashville and Dallas did stand in the way of the Wings, and those teams did shift the momentum away from Detroit temporarily. Other then that, Detroit has ran right through the playoffs, completely knocking out their opponents with "shock and awe."

Randy - Well, no doubt about that, Detroit is too strong of a team this year to be the one taking a beating.

  7. As a Penguins fan I encourage it lol. Seriously though I don't see it happening, although I think the Penguins will be playing with desperation and may just have a better game.

  8. Man, you sure like living on the edge.
