The Wings win the Cup tonight. Do Konstantinov and Fisch get brought down on the ice??

I think they both will be. Vladdie is a huge part of the organizations history, and I'm sure he will brought onto the ice to celebrate each cup victory as long as any of his '97 teamates are still on the team.

As for Fisch, he won't be brought down to the ice but I suspect he will go out there himself. He is still a part of the organization, and was at practice with the Wings last week.

Yes I think they'll both be there on the ice.  Konstantinov has been on the ice every time since the accident.  He's still part of the team apparently as they still have a locker for him I heard.

Maybe Konstantinov, I really doubt it, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Jiri Fischer would be... He is the director of player development for the Red Wings, so he will be one of the "behind the scenes" guys on the ice.

Yes Vlady has been there since they won the Cup after His Accident and Jiri is going to be there (Haven't seen him in Forever!)

I miss those guys on the Ice.. Its so sad what happened to both of them.. They must miss the game so much.. But now they get to hoist the Cup with their best friends!

Although neither had anything to do with this year's team, I expect that they will be down there with the others. The Red Wings have developed this "tradition" although I think it happens with other teams in other sports too. Nice gesture

I'd love to see both of them on the ice.

They both still have their lockers at the Joe, if I remember correctly.

Yes I do. The Wings have been really good about including players that have had those kind of tragedies happen to them. They will most likely be on the bench or just outside the bench during the celebration

Yes. Konstantinov has been at ice level each time they won the cup after his accident. I also think that Jiri Fischer will be brought down to ice level as well.
