The World’s Strongest Man, Mark Henry, grabs eighth place in the Power 25 list
WWE, in cooperation with the Academy of Wrestling Arts and Science, updated the Power 25 list for the last week. The World’s Strongest Man, Mark Henry, grabbed the eighth position in the WWE Rankings.
Henry grabbed this place due to his victory over 'The Big Red Machine', Kane, during Friday Night SmackDown on July 8. The World’s Strongest Man made himself the most dominant force of WWE during past three weeks. Henry has become the most brutal superstar
of the Friday Night SmackDown roster.
Henry was put into a fight against Kane, after the fight between the WWE Divas, Tamina, Alicia Fox, AJ Lee and Natalya. Kane and Henry fought for five minutes. At the end, Henry hit his finishing move, The World’s Strongest Slam and pinned for three-count
victory. Kane was a most powerful superstar of WWE and it is very difficult to beat such a Big Red Machine. But Henry was successful in beating Kane during SmackDown segment.
Due to victory over the most powerful superstar, The Academy of Wrestling Arts and Science put Henry into the Top 10 superstar’s list as number eighth superstar. Last week, Henry was not in the Top 10 list and was ranked 11th in the Power 25.
In that session, Henry was put into a number one contender fight for World Heavyweight Championship against The Viper, Randy Orton.
During his fight against Orton, The Big Show’s music hit that distracted Henry. Nobody came out with that music, but The Viper, Orton quickly hit Henry with an RKO and pinned for victory. It was Christian who distracted Mark Henry with The Big Show’s music
that cost Henry the number one contender match against The Viper.
The loss made Henry most angry and he went towards the music operator. Henry yelled at him and then picked him for a most brutal slam. The musician got injured and was quickly sent to the hospital after first aid. Moreover, he also brutally attacked Big
Show during his steel cage match. The most brutal actions by Henry put him at eleventh spot last week and now he jumped to eighth due to his victory over Kane.
