The World’s strongest man seals second place in WWE’s Power 25 list – WWE News
It has been a very successful month for the WWE’s most dominant superstar Mark Henry
as he continued to seal victories during September. The World’s Strongest Man and the new World Heavyweight Champion, Henry clutched second place in the Power 25 list of WWE updated on September 17.
The World Strongest Man has become the new World Heavyweight Champion after beating the Viper, Randy Orton at WWE’s pay-per-view segment The Night of Champions last Sunday. The WWE Championship match will be added in the next week’s rankings. Despite of
that, the new World Champion appeared during both Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown during the last week but did not participate in any match.
During Monday Night Raw on September 12, the former World Heavyweight Champion, Orton was put into a fight against the Intercontinental Champion, Cody Rhodes. When the Viper won the match, the World’s Strongest Man came into the ring and attacked him. Although,
the Viper made a defence but it was not so easy to escape from the World’s Strongest Man’s dominant stature and aggression. Henry hit the Viper with the World’s Strongest Slam and snatched the title.
The same thing was repeated during Friday Night SmackDown. The Viper once again faced Cody in a Champion vs. Champion non-title match. Once again Henry confronted his Night of Champions opponent and cost him the match. The World’s Strongest Man hit the Viper
with a World’s Strongest Man Slam and stated that he would do the same at The Night of Champions.
Due to these assaults, the Academy of Wrestling Arts and Sciences put the World’s Strongest Man on second place in the current week’s rankings. Henry was on third last week and now he has climbed upward. The World’s Strongest Man has become the World Heavyweight
Champion and he stated that he would be the most dominant World Champion ever. The Championship victory may take the World Champion on the top of the Power 25 list in the next updates of rankings.
