Unfortunately, the intended purpose was long lost...the subject matter was hardly addressed and most posts became a vehicle for users to spout and incite racist views and comments...im not happy the boards are gone cause it really gave me insight as to what race relations really are in this country, but it's for the best.  Yahoo could not control the mammoth of racist comments they seemed to be sponsoring.  I applaud them.

Yes, they would.  This site has been a wasteland ever since December 20th because of the shutdown of the Yahoo! News Discussion boards.
