The actual signs that someone is suffering from domestic abuse?

Question

This reflects on my previous question; in which I asked for people's opinions as to whether my friend was in an abusive relationship, which is still open. What might you see in a person suffering from abuse? Signs, etc?

when she or he acts like everythin is okay when its not

when they have marks

when they cry

when they drink a lot

when they say i cant do that my other half wont like it

when they start accusing you of things

when they start ignoring your call etc

She may be quiet withdrawn quiet she may not see her friends and family very much an abusive relationship may not be physical it can also be emotional .She may seem depressed she may of started wearing diffrent clothes to hide any bruises i think if you are genuinly worried you should talk to your friend so she can confide in you  . Remember abuse can take on many diffrent forms

signs? if you know your friend, then you know when they are acting funny. try and talk to them asap. and stay in contact with them as much as possible. you will be able to see if something is wrong.

When the abused has marks or bruises they cannot explain, or explanations is irrational. When the suspected abused defends their abuser for something they know that they did wrong.
