  1. The advantage of vaccines is it can prevent epidemics from viruses, bacteria, bacterial toxins, or parasites.

The disadvantages of vaccines is that some live-attenuated vaccine may have a little adventure of inducing infection. But that possibility is tiny.

  2. Vaccines help make your body immune to pathogens (micro-organisms) such as bacteria and virus- that cause disease. Bacteria releases toxins and viruses damage cells. White blood cells can ingest and destroy pathogens. They produce antibodies to destroy pathogens and antitoxins to neutralize toxins. Vaccination introduces pathogens to the body in a weak form, this process causes the body to produce enough white blood cells to protect itself against the pathogens, while not getting diseased. ---this is the main advantage

Disadvantages of vaccines are possible adverse reaction, some vaccinea are costly, being ineffective in some cases is also a disadvantage most likely due to mishandling (improper storage) or maladministration, and the worst is possible death from extreme reaction to the vaccine.

  3. Advantage - millions of people not dying.

Disadvantages - some people having side effects, costs money.

  4. Really good story from Time magazine
