The aerator for my kitchen faucet fell off. I bought a new one...but it leaks. Help!

How do I stop the leak. I have already tried tightening it as much as possible.

It sounds like you need a little gasket in between the aerator and the line going into it. Check to see if the gasket is even there, if it is make sure that it is flat and doing it's job.

sounds like you forgot the gasket. pull it back apart and check. You can pick them up at any home improvement store cheap.

Put some sealing tape around the thread before installing the new aerator.  Don't over tighten it or risk damaging the thread. Did you remember to put the rubber washer in there?
