The age old question; Xbox 360 or PS3?

Question

I used to have a 360 and am definitely a fan - mainly play online and love the simplicity of the 360's online. Can't judge the PS3 online as I've never tried it!

In a few years time though won't the Xbox 360 be left in the dark once the PS3 reaches it full technical capacity and therefore so will the games?

Which is and will be the better console?

PLEASE be as unbiased (I know how devoted 360 owners can be (i was one)) as you can possibly be when casting your judgement!

the ps3 online system is very easy and free. the console is upgradable for capacity (i have 320 gb in mine) and its a nicer piece of kit all around. Plays all sorts of media and DOESNT RRoD!

the age old answer; ps3. sure maybe not when it first came out. but the ps3 has now just shown us what it can do. with game after game, coming out, i believe ps3 is better. chack out these games that are or will be out for the ps3:

it can do many things the xbox can't like play blu-ray movies. and the online is free and is very good. sure it might not have all the bells and whistles like the xbox does, but it gets the job done. ps3 is just better

Ps3 is a very good system but i would have to say xbox 360 because i think you can get more out of live than u can from ps3 live or whatever its called. Plus its cheaper and you can still play the same games on xbox live pretty much.

Great thing about PS3 online is that it is absolutely free. None of that gold or silver c**p. Xbox Live is second to none of far as online gaming goes though, that said I'll take free any day.

If you're happy with your XBox 360, why spend money on another console? Yes, the PS3 is the most up to date at the moment but in the meantime, Micro$oft will be working away at a replacement for the 360. Then, the PS3 will be the dinosaur and the PS4 will be eagerly anticipated. It all depends on which console you like best and which games.

This I know as someone who's owned a few consoles in my time.

The PS3's online works is very simple and it costs nothing. It's free.

The PS3 have better games and doesn't get the Red Ring of Death.

It has a longer warranty with Sony and it's much harder to overheat because of its built-in cooling fan.

The Xbox 360 is alright, but let's face it -- why spend your money on something that may break down after two weeks?
