The age to get in a concert?

Is there an age to get into a concert because I'm 14yrs old and I really want to go to the Timbaland concert 17-8-08 but my dad said there is a age to get in I've tried looking on sites but can never get a answer! I'm going with a friend and other older people but I wont be if there is a certain age...

  3. Every place is different. A lot of the venues in Atlanta are 21+ because they have a bar. Other places are 18+ because they serve alcohol in a separate room. Still other places don't have an age limit because it's outside and the places that serve alcohol are restaurants and stands.

    It depends on the place and most likely the type of alcohol distribution going on.

If it's a licenced venue (nightclub) you'll have to be 18 (or 21 if you're in the states).  If it's a stadium or concert hall, or open air ...... no problems.  I went to big concerts when I was 14 and I've taken my 2 and 4 year old kids to see bands.  Your dad may be just saying that, ring the venue and ask to find out for certain, then he'll need another excuse not to let you go.
