The airline industry?

Question

Does anyone know have an statistics on the airline industry, and how many people fly each year? I need to do a comparison on the number of passengers pre 9/11, and post 9/11, and I am having difficulty finding any statistics.

I would appreciate anyone's information regarding this question.

I don't know if you can make anything out of these graphs and figures but try the link below it is for Nav Canada. It is a not for profit company that rules the air.  Well ok Transport Canada rules the air Nav Canada handles all of the traffic.  In the whats new section there are some traffic figures and have a look around their web site they may have stats going back a while and what the heck drop them a line and they may be able to give you the info that you are looking for.

There are a lot of people flying these days, I don't have any statistics but maybe you can use as a sample your neighborhood, as your neighboors about their flying habits and then extrapolate to the world's population
