The altitude of the Atlantic rain forest is 2625 feet (+ 60 feet if you count the height of the canopy).  The Atlantic rain forest is unusual in that it extends as a true tropical rain forest to latitudes as high as 24°S due to trade winds producing precipitation throughout the southern winter.
