if president bush was with you right now, what tips would you give him to better the economy? or would you just curse at him? LOL

I don't think he can do any thing.  It is Congress that has to act.  But we need to be independent of foreign oil.  We need to do more for ourselves and keep our jobs in this country. I think more research into new ways to save fuel or use alternative fuels would be helpful. And  put the knowledge to use.  Why are we spending money on outer space when there are such great needs here in this country and on this planet. Our health care system is broke. It needs fixed. It is just plain disgraceful that some of our citizens cannot afford health care.  We give to much to other countries when we should be taking care of our own.  Police officers, firemen, and many others don't get the pay they should.  Our country needs a President that cares about us, we the people of this country.

I'd tell him to follow Ronald Regen's economic layout and i'd tell him to take the power away from Oil Speculators (who are to blame for high oil prices) and give it back to the oil companies.

As for the gas prices he can't control that if he owns a refinery then he has to buy the oil at $170 a barrel refine it then make a profit or go out of business and if a refinery goes out think of how much Gas will cost then.

I'd tell him to keep on keepin' on.  If you think that one man, even the President, has complete or overwhelming control over the U.S. economy, you have a LOT to learn.  Be patient.  It's a political blame-game to accuse one individual for economic woes or benefits.  There's a whole lot more goin' on than you will ever see, but with time, you'll see more and more.  Just be patient.  God Bless you.
