is it true that some amero coins were created? cause i saw some people selling the so called amero coin on ebay and i was wondering if they were the real thing?

These are private issue "fantasy pattern coins" - essentially unofficial prototypes - created by Daniel Carr .

Carr, who also designed the New York and Rhode Island state quarters, sold these to coin collectors; they occasionally show up for sale in dealers' inventories or on eBay:
