  1. You have to have a learners permit for one year (accident free) before you can take the driving test to get your license.  


  2. you can't wait a tear because your permit is only good for 6 months at least here in ohio i think it's at least a week before you can retest the driving if you fail the first time

  3. no, after you take your permit test and pass, you have to wait 6 months before you can take your behind the wheel test, but only if you completed all 12 hours of driving with an instructor, 8 hours of observation with an instructor, 40 hours of driving with your parents and 30 hours of drivers ed (classroom)

    sign up at a driving school and they will explain more in depth, but basically the earliest you can possibly take your behind the wheel test is 6 months after your permit, and the earliest you can get your permit is when you turn 16, so you can take the test at the earliest at 16 1/2, and if you pass, you get your license in the mail

  4. different stats have different laws, if you specify which state you are from it could help a lot more.
