I know this isn't really much of a question but I'm quite tired of seeing people ask what is Anime. Anime is style of art from Asia (originated in Japan) and is used in Mangas (Japanese comics) and television shows. Anime is not a American cartoon, it has more detail and shows expressions a lot better. Instead of the crappy stick-on clothes, anime shows humans drawn yet not realistic. It is higher than cartoons but lower than humans. The regular kiddy anime is usually with a boy as a main character with big eyes (with what some call blind dots) and these blind dots are light glares to show the eyes are alive. Look in a mirror, you have them also. The boy usually has spiky hair and a bad attitude. More complex animes include the pupil, iris, and every small wrinkle in clothing and on the face as humans. Whilst a American cartoon can be drawn in a few minutes, a complex anime drawing could take weeks to finish. NOTE: My opinion, not yours.
