The ants going marching one by one!!! I hate ANTS!!!!!?

Question

I hate ants they to me are worse then MICE! I get ants in my house and im am going to go crazy!! Is there anything that can rid my home of these.. Remind you I have kids and they get crumbs everywhere.. Even thou we eat only in the kitchen!!!! But I went to the bathroom minutes ago and there are ants everywhere!! Please help before I go nuttttts!!! Yikes Ants!!!!!

The only thing I have found that helps is the Terro stakes that go around your house. We had horrible ants (and similarly don't eat in the bedrooms, etc.) and we tried several things unsuccessfully until we got those and they really seem to work. I have noticed one or two stray ants since we put them up, but nothing like the hoards we had before.

The Terro brand is supposed to be non-toxic to humans, but I would still be cautious with small children.

There are traps and granules... Also if you want to be extra careful around the children... use baby powder.  I used that before and had great success.  I used it in window sills and around door jams since this was the point of entry.  They just won't go through it.

Then go in Home Depot or Canadian Tire, then buy sprays of ants or you can buy traps of ants. For examples, if you put the trap beside the wall the ants have a smell that leads to the trap then when they stay there, they'll probably die by the smell! Ants are coming in your house because it's close by fences or walls that have holes under it! So first try to look if there's any holes or a way that the ants goes to your house outside. Then you can probably see the ants house which you have to infect everyone so you wouldn't see any ants in your house, that's what happened to me when I was a little boy!
