My son got into a car accident in 2007. The plaintif sued him in the small claim court. The judge ordered my son to pay him.The insursnce company agreed to pay the full amount, but they never did.Sometime they say that he changed his address,or he never received the check, or he is not satisfied. Now for more than one year my son's driver's license is suspended. Can he sue the Insurance company?

  1. For car insurance the fastest way to get a low quote is do a policy comparison. If you choose the same coverage amounts, you can get an fast quote to compare against others. Use the same zipcode, car make and model, mileage and driving history to ensure you get an apples to apples comparison. To get easy auto quotes, go to http://www.autoadviceonline.com/Free-Aut... and you can compare all the major auto insurance companies.

  2. Yes, you certainly can sue the auto insurance company. If the contract of your auto insurance states that they will have to pay the damages. That is why before getting an insurance you need to know if that company is reliable and dependable.

  3. For car insurance the obvious way to get a great rate is do a policy comparison on auto policies. Make sure that you pick similar options with the same limits, auto type, location, etc so that all things are a good comparison.

What I usually recommend is an internet comparison quote at http://www.InsureAutoNow.info since they have discount insurers and will give many quotes on auto insurance polices.

  4. What is he going to sue the insurance company for?

You said yourself the company is trying to pay the other party. Its not their fault, or your sons, if this guy is not taking his money.

Have your company send a letter to the DMV explaining the situation, or ask the DMV what needs to be done to get your son's license reinstated.
