The average height for a model?

I am 15 years old and I would like to become a model but I heard about the height requirements.

I am 5"5 1/2

It kind of depends.  Some modeling they want you to be really tall, like 5'8" to 5'10", but that's if you are going to be walking around in the clothes.  Some models height isn't that important.  I know a girl who is 18 and doing some modeling as a job while she's in college and she is only about 5'5" or 5'4".  It depends on what kind of modeling you want to do.

To do catalogue or commercial you don't have to be tall, that is only for runway

It depends what type of model you want to be.

Catwalk models are generally from 5'9 to 6'2.

Catalogue models can vary, can be any height/size.

5'9 would be the absolute minimum unless you are Kate Moss.
