The basis of real life in fantasy novels ?

Even though fantasy writing is unrealistic, it must be based on both truth and life experience if it is to work.

  1. I agree. I am a writer of fantasy stories myself. Usually the thing that ties down a fantasy novel is human relationships. The feelings and emotions they have and experience are just the same as youor me would experience. Which gives you the reality in a fantasy novel.
