  1. check spitzie and project 8's answers. if that still dosent work get a better deck because sony hasnt been making quality products for a while.

oh and im ceartain it has nothing to do with your amp becase it wouldnt play at all then. another thing you could do is wire the remote to your fuse box so that it turns on with the car that way too.

  2. then fix it. DUH

  3. When I first started reading this, it sounded like you had put fish in your trunk.  A 10" bass should be a keeper.

I would contact an audio sound place like Circuit City that installs these systems all the time.  A simple visit could solve your problem.  They should be able to fix your (base) to work with a CD.

    Git R Done

  4. Spitzie's answer is the correct one.  Your amp's remote wire should be connected to the blue/white wire behind the deck, not the solid blue wire.

  5. hi ant,

sounds to me like you hooked up your amp to the power antenna lead instead of the remote turn on lead of your deck.

the power antenna lead gives power only when you're on radio and not on the other sources. thats why that when you switch sources, cd or aux, no power goes to the remote turn on of your amp.

check the blue and blue/white wires again.

    hope this helps.

  6. try to check the eq and speaker levels while playing a cd.

you probably did already, but i figured i'd throw something out there.
