The battle of the b*****s won by none other than 1 to 1F Longford Meg for trainer J Daly
The sixth show of the Harlow Tuesday’s meeting was the Ocean Trailers b*****s Stakes, held at 8:50 on the 20th of September.
Six b*****s were supposed to chase the lure in urge to win the purse worth £500, but P Young’s Millwards Siren was pulled out before the race began. Trap 1 was reserved for the black b***h, which remained vacant during the race.
Longford Meg, the three-year-old black b***h gave her trainer J Daly a reason to celebrate. The b***h having the most bets, put on a tremendous show by covering the distance with immense hard work.
Even though the young hound got stumbled in the beginning of her chase, when she was few lengths away from the finish line, but amazingly J Daly’s b***h achieved the lead, and won the purse in 25.99 seconds.
The trap 4 racer wearing black and white jacket finished second behind Longfor Meg by ¾ lengths, for trainer N McEllistrim.
Pigalle Star the black b***h sent off as the 4 to 1 choice in the race was very swift in her initial stage, with the help of her speedy pace, she even managed to lead for few lengths.
Sadly she stood second for N McEllistrim in 26.05 seconds.
Sundance Saffy, the blue b***h was welcomed in the race through trap 5, wearing orange and white jacket P Simmonds two-year-old, managed to finish third by the margin of a head.
P Simmonds’s b***h ran quite well, and tried every chance to cope up with the situation, but tragically she was not able to meet her desired target.
Covering the required distance in 26.07 seconds, Sundance Saffy successfully whitewashed Shell Never Know, who was chasing the lure for trainer H Dimmock.
The trap six racer was in the race with 6 to 1 odds, wearing white and black jacket with red number printed over it, tried really hard to get through her contenders.
26.19 seconds was the estimated time, in which the hound managed to get hold of the wire.
The b***h that finished last for trainer A Johnston was Danielles Shelly, the trap 3 racer was not able to turn in a good performance.
As she began her chase, she got wide during the initial stages, giving Shell Never Know a run for her money, but the black b***h took 26.19 seconds to cover the 415 meters distance.
J Daly’s Longford Meg was the lucky one to win the bag of money for her trainer, rest of the hounds managed to take £ 50 back home.
