  1. on the Mediterranean Sea , there are beaches in Alexandria , and west of Alexandria .

this west is called the North Coast .

it would be too cold and isolated after September , so you arent advised to go there .

Alexandria has beaches , but you wouldnt be able to swim bec it would be cold at Christmas .

so, you are left with the Red Sea resorts , Hurghada and El Guna as well as others  which are less spectacular .

if you dont insist on beaches , you can go to Luxor and Aswan which are on the River Nile .

make your choices , and HAVE A NICE TRIP>

  2. el agami and theres a beach called marza matroh   beautiful beatiful beaches

  3. You can visit Alexandria where you can find the great "Alex Library" www.bibalex.org , the National museum at Foad Street, the Roman museum, the castle of "kayetbai", & many other good places.

At this time of year, the northen part of Egypt is chili so you can't swim i think.

Cairo also is a nice place during winter, there's the Egyptian museum, the PYRAMIDS, Mohamed Ali castle,.............etc

But if u want the best place to visit in winter, it's Luxor & Aswan in south Egypt where there are the greatest temples in the world.

  4. you can visit alexandria and go to montaza there is abeach called venesya it's nice

  5. The weather in the North will be much 2 cold 4 visits 2 any beaches, u can expect rain & wind in these areas at this time of year.

Hurghada/El Gouna choose hotel with its own private beach & u will be ok, another alternative if u dont wanna do Sharm is Taba or Dehab both have nice beaches & weather ok for beach in the day but bit chilly @ nite.

  6. Alexandria has a Corniche (sea front) lined with more than a dozen fabulous beaches...and traveling along the coast eastward will lead you to some of the most beautiful and pristine beaches in the world, like Mersa Matruh.  Best to be avoided in August-September when Cairenes flock to Alex on vacation...doubling the normal population. Some of the more popular beaches, for tourists, are Montazah, Mansourah, Stanley Bay and Miami.  Occasionally, a local entrepeneur will open up a 'local' beach front, available to natives and tourists.  These are great fun, and a great way to interact with the locals without being overcrowded, or overpriced.  The entire North Coast of Egypt is a beach lovers paradise.  One word of caution.....Alexandria (being smack on the Mediterranean) in winter can be quite cold. If you must travel over Christmas, you might want to consider Aswan, in the south....sunshine EVERY day.  No beaches, but every 5-star hotel has a good size pool. And Aswan is very relaxed, very laid back locals.  Friendly, safe, and one of my favorites vacation destinations. Though Alexandria runs a close second!
