  1. No not really. The girls were probably just being silly and I mean men do it all the time.

Although, I think that  true equality among the sexes would mean that we treat each s*x with respect . Meaning that no one would whistle at anyone in a manner that is dirty and unclean, but instead we show respect and honor each other by treating each other like more than a piece of meat.

  2. very offensive, as there is no such thing as equality, but bless your soul, i used to be like you once...

  3. Doesn't it prove men are *not* being singled out and victemised by sexual harrasment laws? They are being applied equally.

Wolf whistling is not really very offensive, I would be very surprised if a single case ever resulted in a conviction (these cases get thrown out of courts very quickly). Persistant and obscene comments are something else.

  4. It is only equality if the girls are dutifully arrested and jailed as a male would be.

  5. I feel violated. I think I may need a support group.

  6. Equality of the sexes is not about replacing the male social ego with a female social ego, nor it is about having women imitating all the bad male behaviors. Equality is what the word suggests, being equal, not being similar. Those girls harassed some men, just like sometimes men harass women. They deserved to be punished because harassment can be very disturbing. Feminism is not about being the ***** and get away with it. It is about being equal in both opportunities and obligations!

  7. I think this article proves that there is no equality at all, because the women received a much more severe punishment than any male builder caught up in such an act. so yeah I find it offensive because it lets you believe that there is equality, where there is none.
