  1. It's one of those conspiracies but a lot of ships/planes in the past that have passed over or went by that, just disappeared. Either it be by some type of earth's natural gravitational pull or what...no one really knows.? That's all I know about it.

  2. it has this wierd magnetic field around or under it, so the compasses get messed up, and then u just run out af suplies and well, die...

  3. The Bermuda triangle ....  I spent quite a few days sailing (or trying to sail)  through it, then around it  to get to Bermuda.  While in it our boat as pushed back toward the U.S. although it appeared we were sailing at great speed toward Bermuda.  We blamed it on a eddy in the Gulf STream.   We had horrendous waves that made 5 of us (out of 6) deathly ill from motion sickness. We blamed it on the Gulf STream and an unfavorable wind.   We were becalmed for many days and went no where.   We saw pilot whales, schools of dolphins, schools of flying fish, Bermuda Longtails  150 miles from shore, phosphorescence at night,  incredible skies, jelly fish, and other living creatures. We saw a lot of "grass"..... which encouraged us to head northeast    away from the Sargasso Sea.....      There were times in the many days we were at sea when I thought we would not make it. The skipper seemed to have gone into a trance and seemed to have no desire to "make land."    We blamed that on the mystique of the Bermuda Triangle.   When the BErmuda coast guard finally reached us  we were still about 140 miles from land with abut 5 gallons of diesel left and 10 gallons of drinking water I refused to drink..... (foul smell and taste)... We had food but the 2nd in command nixed cooking it.... I blamed that on stupidity....     I don't believe there is some mystical power involved in the Bermuda Triangle  but from the U.S. to Bermuda is a long "hop."  It's 640 miles offshore. Anything can and does happen.  We saw  2 sailboats and a cruise ship during the time we were "out there." We spotted those vessels less than 24 hours before we made it to Bermuda.   I think my experience was "funky" because of the skipper.   I flew home.   It was quite an adventure!   The legend of the Bermuda Triangle makes a good story  but  being unaware of what one is getting into, not maintaining good communication, not paying attention to the weather, not having enough supplies, and being just plain STUPID  probably are the root causes of many of the mysteries but that doesn't make  good story / movie.

  4. The U. S. Board of Geographic Names does not recognize the Bermuda Triangle as an official name and does not maintain an official file on the area.

  5. an area in the West Atlantic Ocean between Bermuda, Florida, and Puerto Rico. Some people believe that many ships and aircraft have disappeared here without any reason.

  6. No no one really knows as yet. What they do know is within that area forming a triangle ships planes etc. go in and sometimes disappear. They believe there must be magnectic forces since sometimes the dials on a plane or ship go haywire and spin and communication is very bad or cut off. A ship was found once that had everything intact and a table had been set with plates sliverware everything but the people were gone. Planes have disappeared forever where usually if they had crashed into the sea there would be some kind of oil slick. I wish someone would find out and solve the age old mystery-it makes for very interesting reads.

  7. no, no one knows for sure, there's many theories though

  8. The Bermuda Triangle is a myth, constructed by putting together lots of different incidents and accidents which had some connection, sometimes an extremely loose connection, with a rather vaguely defined area of the southwestern part of the North Atlantic.

  9. the bermuda is off the coast of florida and its a magnetic field many boats have sunken there and planes crash there
