It can be any type of food (except seafood) but it must be affordable (£15-£20 max). It also must be relatively central.

  4. It depends what sort of food you're looking for.

    I'm a big fan of Japenese food so I would recommend Benihana:

    -> Piccadilly: 37 Sackville St. W1

    -> Chelsea: 77 King's Road SW3

    -> Swiss Cottage: 100 Avenue Road

  5. Gordon Ramsay's Claridge's!

    Perfection!

  6. Scarface is right... head to Chinatown for some crispy duck!

  7. With your budget, you probably won't find the 'best' restaurant in London but there are plenty of places running special offers that are really good value.

    This link shows restaurants in London currently offering deals of £15 and under:

    From that list, Jimmy's in Chelsea is very good:

    For great Italian and a warm welcome from the owner try Stef's:

    For excellent French food in EC1, St Germain is the one for you:

    And for great pan-Asian food and cool decor, try Tamarai:

    Also, Mango Tree (Thai) and Awana (Malaysian) are very popular and both offering 50% off the food bill at the moment. They get very busy and quite loud so not ideal for a romantic meal, but the food and cocktails are wonderful.

    Awana - http://www.london-eating.co.uk/6575.htm

    Happy eating! :)

  8. Fat Belly Jim, greasy spoon cafe on Earls Court Road.

  9. Wonkys - China Town

    Been going since I was a child and have never been dissapointed.

    My uncle who was very ill (cancer) at the time came straight out of hospital and went there. He couldn't eat much and was very weak but i think that shows how good it is. Its very reasonably priced and the staff are very accomodating.
