The best cage for a Large Teddy Bear hamster?

Just asking so I get the best cage for my little sweetie. Soon cuz tonight im going to buy the hammie things.

The Best cage for a teddy bear hamster is a cage with somewhere they can climb! They tend to chew alot on the bars and i hear that can hurt them but mine never did you could use a closed in cage and teddy bear hamsters are big so if you want one with tubes ask someone in the store about that!!

NO crittertrail X is a waste of money! I had it and all of the hamsters i put in it made a nest in the wheel! I like the habitrail OVO only you need the suite or the pad+adventure pack and if you want more space, add the maze

I've had a cage and aquarium. My hammies love the aquarium and it's so easy to clean! It's looks really nice too. And to make them happy, you could buy some fish decor, aquarium backgrounds and such to spice it up a bit! I have a kind of forest theme for mine. Forest background, a log (the fish decor) for them to sleep in, green Carefresh bedding and a cute little tree stump food bowl. It may cost just a little bit more, but it looks really nice and very low maintenance.

A fish tank with a screen cover is best. But you can also buy a plastic bin and poke holes in the top. NEVER buy cages with tubes for teddy bears. they can get stuck and they're hard to clean. Good luck!

A 10 or 20 gallon glass tank with a screen lid will work great for your hammie.  I have 2 hammies....a short hair and a black bear and they both have their own 10 gallon tank and they love them!  Do not waste your money on a plastic cage with tubes...been there, done that.  I threw it away and went right out and bought the glass tanks instead.  Plastic cages are too hard to take apart and clean and my black bear hamster decided she was going to sleep upside down in the tubes!!
