The best (cheapest) cell phone plan in Canada? I want incoming calls to be free?

Well good luck looking for that one.  I doubt there is any such animal as free incoming calls and free texting, come on, how does the provider make any money, and why would they be in business if they did not make any money.  I would suggest being a little more lax in your requirements for a cheap cell phone plan.  Try Virgin, you can buy a years worth of minutes for $100 I am not sure how many minutes it amounts to but it is plenty for me, I never use the minutes I am allowed (the unused minutes are carried forward to the new card you buy after the year is up)  but then I only use the cell when I have to, not to chat to someone in the same building or just to pass the time.  I also do not text.,  You have to read and talk to the reps that know about the plans and decide what is best for you and your calling habits.  It sounds that you may be one who texts a lot and uses the phone every day, so my plan my not be the one for you.
