  1. I'd recommend Mantra.

Or any of the other restaurant listed on VegDining.com.  Here's the link for London:

  2. you should come to Dublin instead and eat at a place called Govinda's! amazing veggie food, really amazing!!

  3. try Woodlands on Panton Street, very tasty exclusively vegetarian south indian food.

  4. The best veggie meal I have had in London was at The Gate, in Hammersmith

Also Mildreds, in Soho, is good for a cheaper meal

  5. I would easily agree with Woodlands at 77 Marylebone Lane, W1V 2PS  020 7486 3862. This is just the best South Indian Restaurant I know, I was there last week. Their starters are to die for, we usually order more starters than mains. Their Lassis are thick and very tasty as well. Woodlands is on the funny side street part of Marylebone Lane at the Oxford Street end. Where they are is now a veritable hive of new restaurants, so you can even look for the next restaurant you want to visit in that area.

I am not a Vegetarian but would choose Woodlands as the place even for meat eaters to go to experience totally different food cooked in a really inventive manner.

Go with a really open mind and you will be in for a treat

  6. Saf - (creative raw vegan restaurant).
