Who really is the best pound for pound MMA fighter today ?

My picks are Anderson silva or GSP what about you ?

I think each fighter is the best in their division. Anderson and GSP are going to be on top for awhile unless we can get Anderson to drop down or GSP to move up.

Anderson Silva is good, but I think his weakness is in his wrestling.  With that said, I'd would say Georges St-Pierre is the best pound-for-pound.  He's good at everything, and since he's lighter than Silva, I'd go with GSP.

Yep, as arguable the question is on who it should be, it's definitely currently between Anderson Silva and GSP without a doubt.

I agree, as it stands, Silva is the best because GSP had that hiccup with Matt Serra. He's since avenged that loss and now has to prove himself against some more tough challengers like Jon Fitch and possibly Thiago Alvares (who's in good form).

The reason I think it's so arguable is that GSP's comeback has been fantastic, completely dominating his opponents. Once he dominates a few more people, it'll be even more contentious.

My top three would have to be GSP, Anderson Silva, and BJ Penn. These fighters have proved there abilities to fight and beat the best. Whose left for Silva or GSP to fight and after UFC 84 who could beat BJ?

That is their current ranking...with Rampage Jackson in 3rd. I agree with the rankings completely.  I would like to see GSP and Silva meet at like 180 pds and put on the fight of the decade.
