I can recommend the following:

Namaste at Parkside - beautiful food, good service and a casual but inviting atmosphere.  Visit their website:  http://www.nepaleserestaurants.com.au/

The Dhaba at the Spice Kitchen - again the food is fantastic as is the service.  http://www.thespicekitchen.com.au/

There's also the Snake Charmer at Unley.  I haven't been there myself but they've been around for years and have an excellent reputation.

I recommend Gouger Street and the Adelaide Central market for good authentic asian food.  Chinatown is amongst two asian food courts that are very cheap.  There are also many asian restaurants and cafes ranging from chinese, thai, vietnamese, indian and japanese.
