I have an immune system problem and my skin seems to suffer from this greatly. What herbs, supplements, etc are really good at helping your immune system? I heard that cranberry juice or pills help, but I want to know what the best is.

  1. If this is an autoimmune problem, your probably better off taking essential fatty acids (borage oil, fish oil), these fats have a lot to do with signaling and cell membranes.

They'll most likely be good for your skin even without autoimmune problems.

  2. vitamin c, basically any juice but there are juice blends for immune systems at the store, fish oil tablets ( omega 3), cranberry, echnina tea, dark green vegetables

  3. I kept on getting rashes, I had a weird scar(if you can call it that)in my face which wouldn't come off, I also had other skin problems, such as slow healing when I cut myself or bruised myself etc.etc.  I found a supplement that works even though you might think that it is pricey(44 bucks a month)---but when I saw the additional results I was so delighted that I just stayed on it--because it took care of athritis pain(I had it really, really bad).  My hair got shiny again and started to grow like crazy....I am just grateful that I found this stuff.  Yahoo will consider it a solicitation if I give you the website(I've done that before and got a violation notice).  E-mail me to my adress, and I will give you the rest of the info needed: germanbeauty0114@yahoo.com

  4. Useful Supplements

    - A good high strength mutlivitamin/mineral, in a bioavailable form. Biocare is a good brand, with biavailable forms of vitamins/minerals, which means they are absorbed esily by your intestines/body

    - Vitamin C 2g per day, Magnesium Ascorbate, or 25 oranges per day, this is equivelant to 2 pints of freshly squeezed oranges. The orange/fruit juice from superstores are full of sugar, squeeze your own for maximum benefits, and its more cost effective if you buy the oranges in bulk.

    - Cat's Claw tea with ginger

    - Echinacea, 10drops thrice daily

    - Grapefruit seed extract, 10drops thrice a day.

    - Omega 3, as someone else reccommended. But I reccommend the Carlson's Brand, since it also contains Vitamin D. Nordic Naturals is also good, and is used in clinical trials, with great success.

    - Sutherlandia - A herb used in South Afrian Hospices for AIDs patients, has been shown to increase white blood cell count, and peserve the life of terminally ill AIDs patients. Source BBC Alternative Medicine - Herbs Documentery.

    - Hyperimmune milk - Look for the MERCK Pharmaceuticals patent 1946, this requires a gestating cow, and 10cc of your blood. So might not be viable.

    - Suana Therapy - All the heavy metals, pesticides, and junk that may be suppressing your immune system will come out in your sweat. This has been scientifically shown by analysing the content of sweat left behind in Suana's.

    - Some people have reccomended probiotics, this is a wise choice, as the gut is where 90% of the immune system resides, so probiotics will greatly help decreae pathogenic bacteria load from the bad bacteria/yeast in your intestines. Although probiotics are good for short term use, due to the fact that they are expensive. So a cheap, free, a superior alternative that you can make at home, is called Kefir. Look into Kefir making, yahoo groups has a kefir making group, they are helping me out alot. A good supplement probiotic is FiveLac. Also consider Oxygen Elements Max supplement, this will oxgenise the body, bad disease causing pathogenic bacteria cannot grow/thrive in an oxygen rich area/body, since they are anaerobic.

    - Last but not least, Cardiovascular exercise increases immunity and IQ, since your lymph system {where most of your white blood cells reside/hang out} has no heart to circulate the lymph, it is vital to do exercise, as this increase lympthatic circulation, by the muscles contracting/relaxing, forcing lymph to circulate. 30mins per day, gentle jog, or rowing, and if your really lazy, then do it atleast three times per week minimum.

    - For improved skin health and overall health - drink alkali water, buy a Regency Elite machine, resonantlight.com, or add 1/2 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate {baking soda} to every litre of purified water that you drink. Drink half your bodyweight in ounces of water per day, minimum. The 8 glasses a day recommendation is a medical myth.

Gerson Therapy - Look into juicing raw organic vegetables/fruit. This will make it easy for you to increase your fruit intake, and raise your daily levels of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, good complex/simple sugars, & protein.

Rife Technology - To fight infection, boost immunity. GB 4000 is a good rife machine, as is the PERL. rifeforum.com

This will make your immune system very very strong, these reccomendations also apply to cancer patients. Some say that the 2g of Vitamin C a day wards of flu's colds, claiming they have never had either for years, and if they do, it is for a few days, instead of a week like most people.

Also if you are interested look into the theory of pleomorphism, on rifeforum.com, to see that the germ theory{monomorphism} is not the full story.

    Hope this helps.

  5. Vitamins C and E also some fish oil (omega-3s)  Nordic Naturals is the best.  Dr Ohhira's Pro Biotics+12 is good for all sorts of ailments and prevention.   Good Luck

  6. The two natural antibiotics colloidal silver and garlic oil both help.

Echinacea is only suitable for short term use and long term use may actually weaken your immune system so you are probably better off without it.

  7. echinacia is great for the immune system :) not sure is that is the correct spelling though

  8. Immune renew by Now foods works well, as well as allibiotic both are natural products

  9. There are a number of herbal tonics that are used to 'normalize' the immune system that have been used safely for thousands of years. Look to reishi mushroom or ganoderma, eleuthrococus, and elecampane.

  10. Try colloidial silver, wealthy people have used it for centuries to boost immunity (it's where the saying born with a silver spoon in your mouth comes from) You can find out more about it here: http://BestSilverSolution.info

    I hope this helps!

  11. Eat plenty of antioxidant rich foods ie ~ foods rich in Vitamins A, C, E and selenium, zinc and foods rich in EFA'S.

    ie ~ Vitamin A ~ liver, dark green and yellow vegies, carotts, pumpkin and yellow fruits;

Without enough Vitamin A in your system no amount of potions or lotion will ever give you that rosy glow..... sweet potatoes are brilliant for giving you a healthy, vital and rosy glow.........  vitamin A will also build resistance to respiratory infections and aid in the proper functioning of the immune system.

Vitamin C ~ citrus fruits such as lemons, limes and oranges, strawberries and blackberries, leafy and green vegies, red and green peppers and tomatoes and potatoes.

Vitamin C extends life by enabling protein cells to bind together and seriously makes your skin look fine ........ vitamin C also plays a primary role in the formation of collagen, which is important for the growth and repair of body tissue cells, gums, blood vessels, bones and teeth♥

Vitamin E ~ wheat germ, vegetable oils (olive oil), nuts, leafy and green vegies, spinach broccoli, whole wheat, whole grain cereals and eggs.

vitamin E will keep you looking younger by retarding cellular aging due to oxidation (by plumping out those lines and extending the life of your cells).

Selenium ~ seafood, liver, wheat germ, bran, tuna fish, onions, tomatoes, broccoli, garlic and brown rice.

Selenium works in tandem with vitamin E thus they increase each others potency. selenium is another antioxidant that will slow the aging process for you.

Zinc ~ essential for protein synthesis and collagen formation.

foods rich in zinc are ~ meat, liver, seafood (especially oysters), wheat germ, pumpkin seeds, eggs and ground mustard.

Pump up your fresh filtered water intake on a daily basis too to hydrate your body properly and plump up your skin and maintain your health, youth and vitality...... you need at least 2 - 3 litres of water per day. Geez, we need at 2 litres daily just to maintain aspiration (to breath!!).... Try to cut right back on sodas and soft drinks, coffee, tea and alcohol ( if you drink any) as they will all do a fine job of dehydrating you and robbing you of your essential B complex of vitamins. Also try to ditch the prepackaged junky foods and sugary treats as these foodswill only rob you of your beauty and vitality by draining your body's limited resources ......... they really have no nutritional value anyways ♥

Take a multi B complex supplement also to support a healthy neural, digestive and immune system and to help you deal with the stress of everyday living and keep you fit and healthy........... get one containing all the B's ie ~ B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12 and folic acid etc...... as they all work best as a group................:0)

take care of you & hope i helped a bit ♥
