The best transfers of the January transfer window in the English Premier League (Part 2)
Tuncay (signed for Wolfsburg from Stoke City)
It is no secret that Tuncay is a player, who has more than an abundance of talent oozing out of him and that this talent was being underutilized at Stoke.
Tuncay had also been caught admitting that he wished to make the switch to a German club before he pulled the plug on his career and with Wolfsburg already having lost Edin Dzeko, they needed a new player to come in and be their star signing.
Tuncay off all people, is now that star signing, the player is destined for greatness at the club and the best part is that he is overwhelmed with joy after having joined the German club.
David Bentley (loaned to Birmingham City from Tottenham)
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Beckham-c10432 in the England side.
However, after some impressive displays early on, Bentley fell to the same fate that countless players before him have suffered. The player lost his spark and started falling down the pecking order and it seemed like all he could do was play a dead ball.
However, Birmingham were willing to give the player a chance to try and prove that, that is not all he is capable of doing and brought him in till the end of the season. If he manages to impress during this stay, not only will be get a call-up back to the
England squad, but he will also get a spot in the Tottenham side on his return.
Luis Suarez (sold by Ajax to Liverpool)
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 were dead bottom on a personal level and it seemed like there was no way out for the team.
However, when Kenny Dalglish, stepped into the team, he made it a priority to spin things around and the manager decided to make an audacious bid for the goal scoring machine, Luis Suarez.
Suarez had proven over the past that he was a natural goal scorer and that he could operate at the highest of levels. So Liverpool did what any struggling team would do and stumped out around twenty-three million pounds for the player and secured his signature.
This move could prove to be vital to turn the team’s season around, as they got rid of Fernando Torres and, now have a goal hungry and more than eager to prove himself, Suarez, who is bound to provide the ammunition upfront for the team.
El-Hadji Diouf (Loaned by Blackburn to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314)
El-Hadji Diouf is a player, who is only truly appreciated by his family and the club that he plays for. The player was reportedly supposed to be the talisman at Blackburn, but due to his poor conduct fell down the likability chart.
However, with him now securing a move out of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Scotland-c756, he could potentially remind everyone what he is capable off and maybe even win some opposing fans over.
Darren Bent (sold by Sunderland to Aston Villa)
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Darren-Bent-c10358 was one of the most renowned strikers in the world, despite the fact that the player played for the likes of Sunderland.
However, when Aston Villa came knocking on the door, to try and land the player he jumped ship and made his way to Villa Park. It was believed that he would not be able to perform at the same level that he displayed at The Stadium of Light, but a match winning
goal against Manchester City and another goal against Manchester United, helped everyone see otherwise.
Fernando Torres (sold by Liverpool to Chelsea)
He is a red, he was a red, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707? Not anymore though, unless Chelsea invest in a red away strip next season.
Fernando Torres has gone from being Liverpool’s most sought after player, to being the future of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 attacking line-up. It is a proven fact, that with the right delivery and the right partnership, Torres can run riot and score more goals than person
can count and with him now at Chelsea, he is bound to do that week-in and week-out.
Chelsea did have to pay a whopping fifty million pounds for the player, but it seems like that is a fee that they will easily recover just due to the kit sales that this move is going to generate. All in all, this move can be summed up in one word – WIN.
